WVSports.com, part of the On3 network, is looking for a full-time writer/reporter to join our coverage of West Virginia University athletics.
This is an opportunity to take on a significant role covering WVU football, men's basketball, baseball, recruiting, and more for an established publication with a large and engaged audience.
The ideal candidate is a motivated journalist who understands that covering a major college athletics program goes beyond writing stories. We're looking for someone who wants to develop sources, break news, identify stories our audience cares about and build relationships throughout the WVU community.

This position requires living in or relocating to the Morgantown, West Virginia area.
This is a full-time independent contractor (1099) position. College athletics coverage requires significant flexibility, including nights and weekends, and regularly extends beyond a traditional 40-hour workweek.
Compensation is competitive and based on experience.
